What are your favourite low-cost or memorable gifts to give for Mother's Day?
My current favourite is: shapening knives.
I have a knife sharpener block. I go around to all of the mothers and mothers-in-law in my extended circle of family and friends, and sharpen their kitchen knives for them.
Ask permission first, of course. And always let someone know if you have sharpened their blade, so they know what to expect.
But I have found this to be usually well received, useful, and enjoyed by several of the mothers around me. It helps everyone to be safer, makes the work faster and easier, and also improves the ROI on the knife sharpener.
Win-win-win.
